Special treatment to the flowers

 As you know semi-wood  stemmed flowers such as, hydrangers, clemtis, hellborus and more of this kind, excude a sticky sap, but did you know that this sap pollutes the water and even kills the other flowers around them.  In order to prevent this the steam needs to be cauterized so they seal in the sap.

Other flowers such as  Daffodils, Narcissus and Crocuses also excude sap which is poisonous to the other flowers, but in these case, the stems are too fragile to cauterize. So you have to hydrate these flowers  seperately for almost 8 hours, and only after this add them to the flower bucket.

 If you want to straighten up your tulips that have curled, carefully place them in an upright, tall straight vase and add a few pennies to the water

 If you mix growing plants in your arrangement, submerge the plant in tap water and clean the leaves and roots. After that hydrate them before you add them to the  bucket of flowers.

  To add an extra  long life the flowers, and to keep your arrangement beautifull,  you will have to take the time to trim off the dying plants and leaves and also to cut the stems that are to be under water with a sharp knife.  Allow the flowers to hydrate before arranging them in the vase.

Next, begin arranging your flowers. Open each flower carefully so that it is wide open and reveals its actual shape. Stick the stems of the flowers into the foam. Lengthen the stems by attaching a piece of floral wire at the end of the stem with floral tape.
